Comments:

The contract for the construction of 4 ships at RMK Marine Shipyard was signed on 16 January 2007. The keel of the first ship Dost was laid on 3 Mayıs 2008.
The design of the these ships are based on the Sirio class vessels produced by Italian Fincantieri. With the commissioning of these ships Coast Guard will be able to perform its duties mainly search and rescue in sea state 5 and higher.

Built to an indigenous design by the private Turkish shipyard that built the KAAN 15 class interceptor boats. Made of fiberglass. This boat was build according to the R&D contract signed between Turkish Coast Guard Command And Yonca-Onuk Shipyard. The prototype will be tested in 2006 and final purchase order will be given after the termination of the tests.

Enlarged version of Kaan 29 class. Designed by the same shipyard. The contract is for 4 boats but there is also an option for 4 more boats. The deliveries has started in July 2005 and ended in May 2006. Further 9 will be delivered.

Remote-controlled stabilized machine gun platform STAMP, developed by Turkish defense contractor ASELSAN is installed on TCSG-307 and TCSG-312
