Russia Wants Turkish Warships To Escort Ferry From Libya

According to Voice Of Russia news portal, Russia's Emergency Minister Sergei Shoygu wants a Turkish warship to escort the ferry M/F Sveti Stefan II, evacuating Russians and citizens of other countries from Libya’s Ras Lanuf port.

The Montenegrin ferry was chartered by Russian Federation and she is on her way to Libya. Russia expects Libya to let the vessel enter  the port Ras Lanuf, where she is awaited by 1126 people, including 124 Russians.

Which one of the Turkish warships will escort the ferry is not clear at the moment.
